"I still can't believe that I'm living out my dreams. Just two years
ago, I was just your average college student struggling to figure out
what my goals were in life. Now I am getting opportunities that I could
not have even fathomed just a few short years ago. I was born in Taipei,
Taiwan and moved to California when I was three years old. I easily adjusted
to the laidback culture of the West and grew up performing in speech contests,
ballet and tap dancing performances, and traditional Chinese folk dancing.
I always loved being on stage and felt most at home when I was performing.
I also organized performances with the neighborhood kids and family members
involving elaborate dance numbers and skits to perform to our parents.
The performing took me away from my outcasted place in school. I had skipped
a grade in elementary school and was incredibly shy with the older group
of students I now had my classes with. I felt ignored and lonely in junior
high and high school and dreamed of pursuing a singing career when I grew
older. Music has always been my passion.
I began actively pursuing my singing and modeling career when I transferred
to UCLA. I was very naive and the entertainment industry was complicated
and dangerous and I learned some hard lessons. However, I pulled myself
through and began working full time as a model and working in the Import
Car show scene.
This year has been spent working hard on writing my own music and recording
my vocals in the studio. I also had my first experiences performing as
a singer recently and have many performances planned for the new year!
I am very excited about what has come about in my first collaboration
with my very talented producer, Bruno Talledo and I hope that you like
