i want to learn how to play the khim and kloy (kluy in thai).
i just realized i have not had rice in a long time....i have been eating everything else but rice.
actually i haven't had khmer food in a while....
i always say that i am going to go to the temple and learn how to play from the musicians and i never do, its so hard as i get older to try and find time for anything anymore.
by the way the khmer and thai temples here teach robam dancing and also how to play classical instruments. and both temples colaborate with one another on dances as well. when dancers from each troupe doesn't have enough dancers they call on each other to help replace a missing dancer.

still don't answer my question, how do you feel they said you are NOT real Lao.

It doesn't effect me one bit even though I am not Lao of Laos but Lao of Isan, as long as I'm Lao, you know why? Because Lao is a true race and also an ancestor of MADE UP race such as Thai. lol

I kinda felt your feeling toward Thai-Khmer Art weren't really 100% truly appreciated. Well, you're not Thais, what I got to say. After looking at those Masked Dancers closely, I saw their Eyelids delicately lifted and painted which's more than enough to actually prove there were eyelids on those masks.
