You need to get away from thinking that the authority is right on everything. We all know they're wrong from time to time. Those people are human, and have screwed up a lot of people in the past. Critical thinking is part of growing up.
So far many simple peasants just like to thank Rama 9, believing that he's the only one did it. That is not true, many of those projects are funded by citizens, tax payers, officials, donation money and some Rama 9's money. those should be thanked and included. Not just Rama 9 only. So far only Rama get the credit and being mentioned over and over again.
This also happen in North Korea, many of their citizens would thank their dear leaders Kim Jong Ill for their lively hood, road construction and other projects. Kim Jong Ill would get most of the credit, and being mentioned over and over again.
This is what we call,
a cult of personality. cult of personality arises when a country's leader uses mass media to create an idealized and heroic public image, often through unquestioning flattery and praising that he's the great. The pictures usually display in every corner of the country. School children will be taught that he's the great, many just don't understand why he's the great. They believe it, because their teachers tell them so. TV program will be broad casting every single days of his greatest, while minimize others.
True story, i didn't make it up.
