Lina So's Interview
We were able to get an interview with the ever so lovely Lina So! Check
it out!
AsiaFinest:
What is your nationality?
Lina So: Chinese and Belgian
AsiaFinest: How did you get into the
modeling business?
Lina So: Did a test shoot with a local
photographer who brought me to a few agencies, I signed right away! I
was quite young at the time and was lucky enough to be traveling and working
with some for the best companies in the industry including BcBg, FuBu,
and Chinese Laundry.
AsiaFinest: Any goals that you want
to achieve but still haven't?
Lina So: Yes, Tons!! Some include
sky diving, traveling the world, try ever food edible, finish school,
fall in love, get married, have kids, and be truly fullfilled =) be more
successful (being truly happy with my life) than what every one bases
success on (wealth/fame)
AsiaFinest: Tell us about your most
exciting or funniest moments.
Lina So: One of the most gratifying
times in my life would have to be when I attended a Mexico Mission Trip
with my church. I have never felt more worthy than I did helping and loving
these unfortunate people. God really is miraculous.
AsiaFinest: What's the most embarrassing
moment in your life?
Lina So: I rarely ever get embarrassed,
but at the top of my head I can recall one incident where I fell flat
on my face ahhaha I will leave it at that...
AsiaFinest: How has the Internet changed
your life?
Lina So: well besides the fact that
I have the whole world at my fingertips, I get tons of booking from the
internet, especially with stock photographers. It all began when I met
a model at a LA fashion show and she told me all about the world of webmodeling.
I soon launched my own website and offers poured in. I am now modeling
and traveling twice as much!
AsiaFinest: Any future project or
work that you would like our visitors to know?
Lina So: I am featured on 5 calendars
for 2002, Tons of new things, check out my club for my full calendar to
check up on where I will be traveling and who I will be working with!
And lastly, The 2002 "Seduction" Calendar and Video. I am actually
producing it along with my best friend Kimberly. It is an idea we thought
up 3 years ago and now decided we have the ability to accomplish it successfully
with many sponsers and promotes backing us, not to mention the top models
of the industry. It is a never before done idea and tons of playful sexy
themes, it will seduce your senses and leave you speechless...for more

AsiaFinest: Did you parents support
your decision to model?
Lina So: Yes
AsiaFinest: What's the hardest part
of being a model?
Lina So: It's a 24 hour job, you can't
just go home after work and forget about the stress. We are always thinking
and stressing about our next assignment and dealing with catty models
and scam artists.
AsiaFinest: Where would you be today
if you weren't a model?
Lina So: I would be working at my
7 other jobs. I have been an aerobics instructor, modeling and acting
teacher, retails sales girl, computer tech for CBS network, secretary
for world champion muay thai kick boxer, sales representative for a few
clothing companies, and/or attending school full time.
AsiaFinest: For the male visitors
of AsiaFinest: Are you currently single? How would a guy approach a beauty
like you? What do you look for in a guy? Turn Ons and Turn Offs?
Lina So: I am SINGLE, but please go
to apt107.com and check out the article I wrote entilted "Women 101
with Miss Lina So" It tells about what every woman really wants in
a man (I also added a few more do's and dont's on my page, my id is LinaSo)
AsiaFinest: What do you do for fun?
Lina So: DANCE, whether it's hip hop,
house, trance, salsa, swing, square, line, tango, ballroom I LOVE IT!!
I also love karoke, traveling, piano, shopping, modeling, clubbing, partying,
louning at friends houses, blockbuster dvds, movies, dining at exotic
restraunts, writing, cooking, and chatting with friends.
AsiaFinest: Has the tragic Sept 11
event affected you in any way?
Lina So: I was devastated by this
horrific crisis that hit my country. I was numb for awhile and dwelled
in my sadness for all the lost ones, but soon realized it is better to
get up and help, donate blood, money, clothing, time, and comfort to those
affected. I applaud the heros of NY for continuing the back breaking labor
and the supporters who actually care. It is hard to pretend that nothing
happened and to continue with my personal life, but I will not let them
get the best of me. My prayers for everyone of the nation to overcome
this battle together and for all the families that have been affected
and strength to those who are struggling with the desperate search and
clean up. We have finally come upon a realization that we are not invincible
and that we must fight for our country! I thank God for my freedom.
AsiaFinest: Not really a question
but feel free to add anything that you would like to say to our visitors.
